IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH

West Plains, Missouri
Retrofit

This 7 year old Dutch built organ was damaged as a result of a lightning strike and the church requested that Phoenix Organs rebuild it using the Phoenix system and pipe samples. The church became interested in Phoenix after hearing glowing reviews of the organ at Lincoln, Nebraska.

Phoenix Organs replaced the system on-site, and utilized the existing speakers, amplifiers, K-A drawknobs and UHT keyboards. Specification one is German, with an English second spec, French third and Organ/Orchestral on the fourth spec.

The pic at bottom right shows seated organist Junia Larson with Church Elder and Organ Committee Chairperson, Frank Stautzenberger.

"It is wonderful to finally have an organ to play and enjoy listening to. The sound is realistic and true, not glaring or too "bright" nor too subdued.
On behalf of the organ committee and the church, I want to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for the professional way in which the Phoenix Organ team has handled everything, from the first inquiry concerning Phoenix organs to the final voicing of the instrument. This organ is a great addition to our liturgical worship service, enhancing the singing of the liturgy and hymns. We are thrilled with the Phoenix, and will recommend you and your company highly to anyone looking for a top quality instrument. Thank you again for your honesty, integrity, and professionalism. It was a delight to work with all of you."
