Cambridge Street United Church, Lindsay, Ontario, commissioned Phoenix Organs to undertake a major hybrid organ project. The project was a joint effort with pipe organ technician Andrew Mead. The Casavant pipe organ received a new Phoenix pipe control system, the addition of several sampled stops to round out the specification and an Antiphonal. The console was completely rebuilt using the Phoenix system, Phoenix Opto contact system, new, walnut stop jambs, coupler tab rail and thumb piston rails . A Phoenix Phantom sequencer was also added.
The pic at bottom right shows the rebuild in progress with new stop jambs with Harris Precision solenoids, coupler tab rail with Peterson D-style tabs, keyboards and thumb piston rails installed.
