Deep River is located on the Ottawa River, and has a musically sophisticated community. Many of it's residents are employed by the nuclear energy facilities in nearby Chalk River, which is owned by Atomic Energy of Canada (AECL). Chalk River Laboratories (CRL) is both a national research facility and an international production center for medical radioisotopes.
Our Lady of Good Counsel organ committee, and Music Director John McKay, chose the Phoenix PT 354, a three manual, 54 stop organ with 9 audio channels.
