Phoenix Organs added many sampled stops to this 1991 Casavant. The installation was the first PC-based hybrid project for Phoenix Organs. The pipe organ is completely independent from the Phoenix sampled system and is accessible by a touch screen mounted on an articulated arm that can be swung back, out-of-sight, to the side of the console, when not in use.
The sampled additions, added for a very modest price, create variety and a foundation to the organ which had a limited specification. For the pipe organ purist, the whole process was a non-invasive addition to the actual pipe organ.
