This lovely, historic stone church had a limited Lye tracker organ in very poor condition. The chests were badly split and warped and would have been expensive to repair. At bottom right, is a picture of the old Lye organ, prior to cutting down the casework and moving it closer to the wall. The Phoenix console was positioned in front of the casework to give the appearance of a detached, reversed console of a tracker instrument.
It was decided that the casework would be cut down to house the Swell, Great and Pedal Division speakers for the new Phoenix Organ. The Choir Division speakers are situated high on the wall across from the casework. The organ has 8 audio channels, 45 stops, and a Choir to Antihonal.
