ST. ANDREW'S UNITED CHURCH

Toronto, Canada
PD 362

"The quality of tone is superb...the resulting sound has been widely praised by members of the choir and congregation. We would be pleased to recommend Phoenix Organs to any of your future customers...and to provide them with an opportunity to listen to the organ..."-- Martin H. H. Campbell, Organ Committee Member.

St. Andrew's Church is located on Bloor Street, Toronto near one of the busiest intersections in all of Canada--Bloor and Yonge Streets. The church architecture blends in with the surrounding high-rise buildings and it is easily over-looked. The sanctuary's modern architecture features a beautifully carved reredos from the old original church.

The new PD 362 is a 3 manual, 62 stop drawknob instrument and is a very impressive addition to the Phoenix list of recent installations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The acoustic is very good for church music and the speaker placement using Phoenix' AcoustiCube speakers creates a satisfying result. This organ is one of the 'must-see' Phoenix Organs if you are visiting Toronto.

Music Director Mark Ruhnke worked with Phoenix Organs on the final specification and features, which includes moveable console, hydraulic adjustable bench, Antiphonal Speakers and Phoenix Phantom recorder.
