A new casework Phoenix II organ graces Vincent Taylor's music room at his lovely residence in Ottawa, Canada. The cabinet has recessed side panels and simple yet tasteful moulding around the top. The walnut stain matches the new Yamaha grand piano that sits next to the new Phoenix.
TS 354 has three manuals, 54 stops on the English American Romantic and 40 on the Baroque specifications for a total of 94 separate and independent pipe samples, two touch screens and 2.1 audio. The speakers are placed in the top of the case facing the ceiling. The matching walnut powered sub-woofer has a long-throw, wide surround driver which is floor loaded.
The Phoenix II system runs on Linux, features Virtual Distance so that samples can be either Near or Far, 5 convolusion reverbs and the ability to have all 94 stops from each spec play at once if the organist wishes.
